It’s that time of year already???

Yes, it is and the Past Their Prime-Time Players have emerged from hibernation. We are dusting the cobwebs off our instruments and vocal chords in preparation to bring you a delectable smorgasbord of hits from the Eighties. Yuck! What a drecky decade that was, if only you could see through all the hair to find your equipment…  Well, no matter…  being the professional amateurs that some of us are, we shall press our nostrils together and forge onward for your musical enjoyment.

This past summer, PTPTP stalwarts Rob, Rich and Geoff crossed paths with a charter member of the band, lead singer Danny Nadler, who has not performed with our troupe for more than twenty years! He had left to find fame and fortune. Now, after giving all the money back and doing his time…  (just kidding Danny…  one of the sweetest individuals you may ever meet), we’ve invited him to join us for the battle. Lucky for him, no need to pass a board membership vote or pay the annual condo fees!

To our added great fortune, Danny brought with him a host of fine musicians and singers. Sharing lead vocals is the lovely and talented Teresa Estrada along with added vocal support from a fine gentleman, Mr. Wayne Couture. Covering the bottom this year with superb skill we have Ralph Zinno playing bass. Finally, we round out our new team with a man who has played at Battle many times (although not with us), the exemplary Ian Smart on guitar.

If you can get past the music, (OK… you’ll probably enjoy it), please come and join the friendliest Battle ever fought and remember, the winner will be all the residents of the Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre so when it comes to your donations, please, don’t be shy!
