These guys can heal you with their medical background and smooth sound!! Benny and the Healers came to be because “Elliot Mechanic made me do it,” says Benny with a sly grin. Benny Saleh and Sylvio Caro used to practice together many years ago. Before long, friends Marc Perez, Carlos De Figuiredo, Sam Gold, Emile Knafo and Leslie Singerman joined them and they continued to jam together. Get set to hear songs in their repertoire by Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits and Paul Simon.
“MTelus is a great venue and this is a wonderful opportunity to help the community and Maimonides at the same time it's a whole lot of fun,” says Saleh.
