The Past Their Prime Time Players have got our plaid shirts, tuques, Molson beers, and poutine (not to be confused with the wacko leader of Russia) ready for this year’s battle!

We can thank the US president for kick-starting a Canadian introspective period. The time is right to recognize the great bands and talent our country has produced and as proud patriots, our crew is ready to stand and deliver some of the finest renditions of beloved Canadian hit songs.

Joining us this round of the BOB for 2025 we’ve recruited some mighty “YUGE” talent. Handling lead vocals is the velvet voice of Larry Hughes. We also have on board the great Linda Benoy who has graced our band at BOB in previous years. Included in the huddle is Brad Anderson on bass, Garry Ciambella on guitar and our fabuloso PTPTP Brass comprising Shaina Bronfen on sax, vocals & percussion, Steve Eichenbaum on trombone & percussion, and musical whiz kid, Nicolas Bernier on trumpet (and brass arrangements).

As core members of this outfit, we - namely Geoff Lang, Richard Yanofsky, and Rob Goldfarb - are looking forward to putting aside our beaver tails, maple syrup and Stompin’ Tom Connors records as we all launch into the upcoming battle to benefit the folks at the DBM Maimonides hospital.
